HIGH SCHOOLERS

BFSD will be holding evaluations/auditions for the 2023/2024 Competitive Teams for Dancers entering High School and current High School dancers on June 20th and 21st. June 20th everyone learns the combos at the St Charles studio location located at 3720 Illinois Street St Charles IL .

Thursday June 20th in St Charles

2:45pm check in

3-3:30pm warm up (Brooke)

3:30-4:15 learn jazz combo (Sonia)

4:15-5 Learn Contemporary Combo (Rachael)

5-5:30 dinner break

5:30-7 Hip hop Auditions (Miguel)

Then on Friday June 21th the dancers will audition at the Genoa studio located at 303 W Main St Genoa, IL. On Friday, Dancers will be assigned a 20 min time slot for auditions between 10 & 4.

There is a $25 registration fee which includes the teacher’s time and hand written feedback on each dancers evaluation forms.

All students need to pre-register for the auditions and pay the audition fee.

****1 Day Make Up auditions for JRs & Teens/Srs****

*If your dancer cannot make the scheduled Teen/ Sr or JR audition date, we will have a 1 day make up option to audition on Friday July 26th instead. Please know it is highly recommended for dancers to attend the 2 day option rather than the make up date.

Friday July 26th in St Charles

3-4 Make Up hip hop Auditions (Miguel)

4-5 learn jazz & Contemporary/ Lyrical combos (Sonia, Rachael & Brooke)

5-6:30 audition technical skills and combos for jazz & Contemporary/ Lyrical

To help cover the cost of the instructors on this weekend a $25.00 non-refundable audition fee will be charged.

4TH – 8TH GRADERS

BFSD will be Holding evaluations/auditions for the 2024/2025 Competitive Teams for Dancers entering 4th grade Intermediate Level I and up through 8th grade the first weekend in August (Sat. Aug. 3rd & Sun. Aug. 3rd) The dancers will learn the combos on Saturday the 3rd at the St Charles location located at 3720 Illinois Ave St Charles .

9:45 am check in

10-10:30am warm up (Brooke)

10:30-12 learn jazz and Lyrical combos (Brooke)

12-12:30 lunch break

12:30-2pm JR hip hop Auditions (required for all dancers auditioning)

And then on Sunday the 4th they will audition at the Genoa location located at 303 W Main St Genoa IL. On Saturday, Dancers will be assigned a 20 min time for auditions on Sunday which will be held between 10 & 4.
