2026-2027 Competition Team Evaluation/Audition Dates! Want to be part of our award-winning Competition Team? Dancers on our teams have fun learning and growing in all dance styles. BFSD will be holding evaluations/auditions for the 2026/2027 Competitive Teams for Dancers entering High School and current High School dancers on June 12th and 13th.

June 12th everyone learns the combos at the St Charles studio location – located at 3720 Illinois Street St Charles IL. Schedule as follows:

8:45-9 Dancer Check-in
9-9:30 Teacher-Led Warmup
9:30-11 Learn Contemporary & Jazz Combos
11-12:30 Hip Hop Auditions *Required for any dancer auditioning for jazz/contemporary/lyrical team*

June 13th auditions will take place at the Genoa Studio location – located at 303 W Main St Genoa IL.

*Dancers will be assigned a 20-minute audition time slot with 1-2 other dancers*

Audition time slots approximately 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (may vary depending on number of dancers)

There is a $25 (non-refundable) audition fee which includes the teacher’s time and hand written feedback on each dancers evaluation forms.

All students need to pre-register for the auditions and pay the audition fee.

July 24th dancers will learn & audition Combos and Technique skills at the St Charles studio location – located at 3720 Illinois Street St Charles IL. Schedule as follows:

Downstairs:

5-6 High School Hip Hop Auditions
5-6 Learn JR Jazz/Lyrical Combos
6-7 Learn High School Contemporary/Jazz Combos
7-9 Auditions for all dancers

Upstairs:

6-7 JR Hip Hop Auditions
